Bellevue is Nebraska's
oldest community and the third largest city in the state of Nebraska.
Bellevue is located in eastern Nebraska next to the Missouri River.
It also conveniently borders the city of Omaha, home of one of the
world's finest zoos, several art museums, Opera Omaha and the Omaha
Symphony.
Offutt Air Force
Base and the 55th Wing are located in Bellevue. The community serves
the country with worldwide responsibilities as the largest wing in the Air
Combat Command.
Due to the opening
of the Kennedy Freeway, Bellevue has experienced a tremendous business
boom. Growth is being seen in industrial, residential and commercial
aspects. Several shopping and fine dining opportunities are now on Bellevue's
horizon.
Bellevue offers
many possibilities to fill your days. Bellevue Community College provides
courses in everything from ceramics to the study of great literature.
With an active rotary club and senior center, community involvement
is easy and worthy. The city takes advantage of its lovely scenic beauty
with an abundance of golf courses, parks and walking trails.
